Messy Moments, Thriving Hearts is a guided journaling and reflection space. It is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, or a substitute for professional mental health support. The AI reflections are generated by a large language model and are not written or reviewed by a human. They are not clinical assessments, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.
If you are in crisis or need immediate support, please reach out to a mental health professional or crisis line in your country. This space is not equipped to respond to emergencies.
This service is for adults aged 18 and over. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
This service is currently available as a personal journaling space. You may use it for your own private reflection. You may not use it on behalf of others without their knowledge.
Everything you write in your journal belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your entries. You can download your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings.
By using this service, you grant us the limited right to store your journal entries and send them to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely for the purpose of generating your reflections. This is the only way the content is used.

The reflections generated in response to your journal entries are produced by an AI model. They are designed to be gentle, supportive, and non-prescriptive — but they are not infallible. AI can make mistakes, misread context, or generate responses that don't fit your situation.
You are the expert on your own experience. Use these reflections as a gentle prompt for your own thinking, not as authoritative guidance.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately from account settings or use the forgot password flow.
When you delete your account, all your data is permanently and immediately removed. This cannot be undone. We strongly recommend downloading your data first if you want to keep a copy.
A paid subscription tier is planned for the future. When it becomes available, the specific terms — including pricing, billing cycles, cancellation policy, and what's included — will be published here and clearly communicated before any charge is made.
The current free tier will continue to exist alongside any paid features.
We aim to keep this space available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We'll give notice where we can.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will not delete your data without giving you an opportunity to export it first.
This service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Messy Moments, Thriving Hearts is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service — including decisions made based on AI-generated reflections.
Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months (or R10 if no payment has been made).
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
